Why speed is done, but accessibility, SEO and privacy aren't yet
Every browser enforces the Same-Origin Policy: a web page can time how fast another server answers, but it can never read what that server sends back. That rule protects every website on the internet from being silently scraped by other pages, this grader included. There's nothing broken here, and nothing on either side that turns this rule off.
Finishing the grade just needs the page's own code. Either option below takes under a minute:

Option 2: Measure everything automatically instead (about 30 seconds)
- Open the site in Chrome, Edge or Firefox. For first-visit numbers, open DevTools, tick Disable cache on the Network tab, and reload.
- Open the Console tab (F12, or ⌘⌥J on Mac).

If the server response above looked unusually slow, or the test failed outright, the usual cause is anti-bot protection treating this test like a bot, because that's exactly what it is. Worth checking:
- Cloudflare Bot Fight Mode, Super Bot Fight Mode, or "I'm Under Attack" mode: these challenge or block automated requests by design.
- A WAF rule or security plugin (Sucuri, Wordfence, AWS WAF, and similar) that blocks requests without a full browser fingerprint.
- A CAPTCHA or JS challenge (Cloudflare Turnstile, hCaptcha, reCAPTCHA) sitting in front of the page.
Turning the relevant one off, or allow-listing this test, just long enough to re-run it confirms whether that's the cause, and it's safe to turn back on right after. None of it affects real visitors, and none of it affects the paste-the-code option above, which runs entirely in your own browser and never touches your server.

Measured in your browser
Pages on this website load in a frame at phone or desktop width. The grader reads the browser's own performance timeline for paint, layout shift and every file's size, checks the rendered color of every text element, and inspects the live page for accessibility, SEO and privacy/cookie compliance.
Other websites can't be opened that way, because browsers keep sites isolated from each other. For them, the grader times four requests to the server from your device, and grades accessibility, SEO and privacy from the code you paste.
Weighted checks, then hard caps
Each category is a weighted average of its checks, with speed timings scored on log-normal curves like Lighthouse uses. Then caps apply: any detected WCAG A or AA failure holds accessibility at 69; a noindex tag holds SEO at 20; LCP over 4 seconds or layout shift over 0.25 holds speed at 49; a first response over 1.8 seconds holds speed at 59; a missing privacy policy, cookie banner, or unconsented trackers holds privacy at 59.
The overall grade is the geometric mean of the four, so the weakest area pulls hardest.
What this can't see
Timings come from your device and network, so run tests on a typical connection and compare trends rather than single runs. Repeat visits benefit from your browser cache, which makes numbers look better than a first visit.
Automated checks find only part of all accessibility problems. A perfect score means no detectable failures, not a certified accessible site; keyboard and screen reader testing are still required.
